Dental Bonding
Chicago, IL

Gorgeous woman smiling with Dental Bonding Chicago, ILAre you tired of your crooked smile or chipped tooth? Then a visit to our team at Medhat Dental Excellence is in order. Orthodontics is one of the major sub sectors of dental care. It is fully focused on dental aesthetics. Dental health is just not about proper dental hygiene; it is also about making sure that teeth are in the best shape as well. Dental bonding has, over the last few years, grown to become one of the most preferred cosmetic dental procedures for patients with crooked smiles or chipped teeth. Bonding uses a tooth colored resin to fill broken, chipped or decayed teeth.

There are other dental procedures that can achieve the same results. But bonding is seen as one of the more affordable options. It is also easier to do and will not take too much time. The results are almost instant. The moment you leave our dental office, your smile will be fully restored. Not many people have perfect teeth. Dental injuries, poor dental health, old age, and genetic factors may all contribute to tooth problems.

But no one has to live with crooked teeth for the rest of their lives. It does not matter how old you are, dental procedures like bonding or dental implants can be customized just for you, leading to a better looking and more confident smile. However, before you decide to undertake any cosmetic dental procedure, make sure you have a sit down with one of our dentists for advice.

Why You Should Consider Bonding

As we have already hinted above, there are a few other orthodontic procedures that can be used to treat fractured, crooked, or chipped teeth. These methods will achieve the same results as bonding. So, why should you consider bonding over these other options? Well, there are three main reasons. First, bonding is cheaper. Even for severely damaged teeth, bonding can help transform your smile without too many expenses.

In addition to this, bonding is far much safer and easier to do than many other cosmetic dental procedures. The technology in orthodontics has advanced and it has made pretty much any procedure safe and painless. But there is a level of comfort and easiness associated with bonding that you will not get with other procedures. Finally, results for bonding are instant. You do not have to wait for months to get that perfect smile. The moment we discharge you from our dental clinic you will be good to go.

Our Teeth Bonding Process

The first thing we do during a bonding procedure is to determine the color of the resin to be used. Any resin applied on your teeth must match the color of your teeth at that particular moment. Once we have determined the resin to use, our team will slightly etch the tooth in preparation for the bonding agent. The resin will then be applied around the etched area and hardened using UV light. Finally, the dentist will trim the applied resin until it fits perfectly to match the rest of the teeth. We may also polish up your entire teeth set as part of the procedure.

In case you feel bonding can be of help in restoring your beautiful smile, give us a call. You can reach us, Medhat Dental Excellence at (773) 774-4611 to learn more and make an appointment with one of our dentists.
